FAQs

How to care for your new exceptional piece.

Use a soft cloth to dust and clean. If any spillages occur, simply wipe clean, acting promptly to prevent further damage.
Use Brasso or Silvo to keep any brass or silver mounts and fittings from tarnishing.

Do not leave your product for prolonged periods in direct sunlight, as this will accelerate the aging process and may cause the timber to discolor, crack, or dry out.

Monitor the relative humidity in the room, keeping it to an average of 45–50%. Extreme changes in humidity can cause shrinking or splitting.

Please refrain from…

  • Using silicone-based cleaning agents or polishes on the surface.
  • Leaving your piece for prolonged periods in direct sunlight, as this will accelerate the aging process. Light can cause timber to discolor or even crack and/or dry out. Wood is a natural resource affected by the environment it is placed in.
  • Placing any hot or extremely cold items on the surface of your piece.
  • Locating your piece directly under or in front of hot lamps, strong lighting, radiators, fireplaces, or any other form of naked flame or heat source.
